Status Management

Workflow stages and automated actions.

Status Description Triggering Action
Draft The order is incomplete and not yet visible to technicians. Created but not yet saved/assigned.
Assigned / Scheduled The order has a date and a resource allocated. Dispatcher/manager assigns a technician and a time slot.
In Progress / Checked In Technician has arrived and begun working. Technician taps 'Start Job' or 'Check In' on mobile app.
On Hold Work is temporarily halted. Technician/Dispatcher changes status and adds note.
Completed / Resolved Service work is finished and ready for invoicing/review. Technician taps 'Complete Job' and gathers signature.
Canceled The job will not proceed. Manager/Dispatcher closes the order with a reason.
