First Work Order

Guide through creating, assigning, and completing your first job.

Step Action Description
1. Initiate Creation Click 'New Work Order' From the main navigation bar or dashboard, locate and click the 'Create' or 'New Work Order' button.
2. Define Scope Enter Job Details Provide a clear title, a brief description of the required work, and select the appropriate Service Type (e.g., Repair, Installation, Maintenance).
3. Identify Location Add Customer & Asset Enter the customer's name and service address. Select the specific asset or equipment that requires service from the asset list.
4. Schedule & Assign Set Date and Technician Select a start date/time. Use the dispatch tool or dropdown to assign the work order to a specific technician.
5. Execute & Complete Change Status to 'Completed' Once the job is finished, update the status from In Progress to 'Completed'. Enter a brief Action Taken note.
